Improv Camp

Kids 8-15!

Once again we'll be running half-day sessions throughout the summer. Kids will learn how to play improv games, become more confident and learn to be a member of a team.

Kids will learn great games applicable to situations in school, on the playground, and in every day life.  If you've got a creative, silly or super-smart kid, this class is perfect!!

Our Professional CSz teachers all have gone through years of ComedySportz training and playing to bring your kids the best experience possible!!

NEW FOR 2010!!  Advanced Kidz Camps!

This summer CSz is offering 2 advanced Improv workshops for returning campers.  If you've done Kidz Camp in previous summers, you're invited to take this class and beef up your improv skillz!  We'll learn new, fun scene games and really get the brain working!  Cost and times are the same.  Look below for Advanced class dates.

July 12-16 (Advanced Class Only)

July 26-30

August 2-6 (Advanced Class Only)

August 16-20

1-5pm daily

$180 per week

All classes begin promptly at 1pm, and run until 5pm.  We ask you drop your child off by 12:30pm on the first day of class to ensure all enrollment is taken care of, but for the rest of the week, please arrive by 1pm.

Approximately one week before camp, you will receive a packet from CSz which includes complete instructions for your child's week at camp.

This Summer, ComedySportz is offering an exciting scholarship opportunity for students who want to go to ComedySportz Improv camp but perhaps can't afford it.  The Scholarship will be offered to the winner of the Improv Camp Contest which can be found on the ComedySportz web site.

The contest consists of answering some fun and creative questions.

Sample question:  "Besides Earth, what is your favorite planet?  Why?"

There is a five minute time limit to the quiz. (Mom can't help).  Every entry will get 10% off their camp fee. Fifteen students will win a Camp session week during the July 26-30 session.  

The entries will be judged on how creatively the questions are answered, but anyone going over the five minute time limit will be disqualified.  (We know when you are sleeping, we know when you are awake, and we know when you take more than five minutes)

The  half-day Improv Camp sessions are for children ages 8 - 15.  There are classes for beginners, plus two advanced sessions for returning campers. Classes are taught by professional CSz teachers. Students will build their confidence level, learn improv games, and learn how to work as a team. There will be a show at the end of the session.
